At Camp Acorn, we focus on helping children build trust and resilience, make connections, and reach their full potential, all while having fun!

Our trained staff build relationships with every child that walks through the door, understand that every individual has a different experience, and work together to create an environment where children feel safe, heard, and empowered to make choices through a variety of activities and group supports including:

Outdoor adventure experiences such as structured group games, team-building activities, and meaningful time outdoors each day

Creative arts which provide an outlet for self-expression and self-discovery

Daily individual and group activities, chosen by the camper, that provide them meaningful input

At Camp Acorn, our goal is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where campers can build trust and resilience, make connections, and reach their full potential.

NEW in 2026: Leaders in Training

Camp Acorn’s Leaders in Training program is designed for youth ages 13 to 15 who are ready to build confidence, leadership skills, and real-world experience in a supportive camp environment. Participants learn teamwork, mentorship, and responsibility while gaining hands-on experience helping younger campers thrive.

Our newest program will be running two sessions this summer. Participants have the option to choose:

  • Session 1: July 20 to 31
  • Session 2: August 10 to 21

Disclaimer: While LIT is designed to be a two week program, ongoing assessments will occur over the first week to determine fitness to complete their placement week.

The 2 week LIT program includes:

  • High 5 Certification (Principles of Healthy Child Development)
  • Leadership field trip
  • 30 hours community service

Cost: $445 (subsidy and campership options available)
