About Brave Hearts
Previously known as the Spotlight Gala for 7 fantastic years, from 2024 forward, our gala will be known as the Brave Hearts Gala. When a child reports an experience of abuse or trauma at the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre, they are accomplishing an incredible act of bravery, showing strength and resilience despite their traumatic experience, and starting their journey to healing.
When our guests come together on Wednesday, October 23, we’ll learn the stories of those Brave Hearts, and show our own heartfelt support for the Niagara children we serve at the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre.

The Penner Home Hardware Brave Hearts Gala, benefitting the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, venue to be confirmed. Please join us for a gourmet dinner, exclusive Live and Silent Auctions, the comedy of Niagara’s own Joe Pillitteri, and incredible Musical Performances (TBA). Previous musical entertainment has included Juno Award nominee, Matt Mays, Niagara’s own Wayne Petti and rising stars Julianna Riolino and Sleepy Jean.
