Cathy’s Kids

April 24 to June 12, 2024

Ages 6 to 11 | $110 | Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00pm

We believe that all children should be provided with a safe and nurturing space to explore, learn, and grow through creative expression. Through a variety of artistic mediums such as linoleum carving, cyanotype creation, sculpting, and storytelling, Cathyā€™s Kids encourages children to foster resilience in a safe and supportive environment. Emphasizing trauma-informed practices, Cathyā€™s Kids integrates purposeful elements into artistic activities, allowing children to express themselves freely, while also learning coping strategies and building self-confidence. Participants will learn through purposeful play, encouraging children to:

  • Find their unique voice and embrace inner strength
  • Instill integrity
  • Enhance confidence and instill a sense of personal purpose
  • Strengthen self-esteem
  • Cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves
  • Practice perseverance
